WebJun 13, 2024 · Follow the A82 until Corran, and then take the A861 for the ferry. On the Ardgour side, turn left and follow A861 until Strontian. Just before Strontian, turn left onto the A884 and follow until Lochaline. Registration and parking area is located across The Lochaline Hotel (past the turn for the ferry). Please do NOT park on the ferry slip.

Yes, EESW is right - Lochaline to Strontian is a single track road, 20 miles of bends and passing places, and will take at least 40 mins for this stretch.
